Hello Beautiful One!
I wanted to tell you guys about a morning ritual I have recently started. Sometimes we all get overwhelmed, with work, family or just the busyness of the world. I have always had a morning practice but I really wanted to feel more intentional and mindful before I start my day.
Rituals help to open up your mind to new thoughts, tap into your soul to lead you towards your purpose, etc. The very first thing I do when I open my eyes is I give thanks. Then I grab my 21 days of Gratitude Journal and I list 10 things I am thankful for. Then I get one of the books I keep on my nightstand and lately I have been favoring 2 Unshakeable 365 Devotionals for Unwavering Faith and 365 Miracles: Daily Journal Of the Course of Miracles.
Both of these books have changed my mindset and has help me be open to the magic of this life with out feeling like I have to make something happen. It has helped me relax in the knowing that this amazing universe we live in is generous and ready to serve us if we allow.
|After that I take a few breaths, set my intentions and move forward with my day expecting great and fabulous things. What is your self care ritual? Is it effective? I would love to hear about it!|
